I was summoned for one of my many daughterly duties - reach out for a fine sewing needle, put nimble fingers to good use and dislodge piece of glass from father's heel.
The needle was ditched for tweezers and i managed to pull out this 0.4cm long shard of glass, triangular and slightly bloody.
Of course, the picture alongside was taken as proof of my bravado, and, more importantly, to send to my sister, that girl who grows dizzy at the slightest sight of blood.
