While looking at Ryan Gosling

As I looked at this picture I thought, in order of consequence:

1. Is that a statue?

2. Oh! That woman really is naked.

3. Is her waist that weirdly shaped?

4. Oh no! That's just the paint effect.

5. . She has black hair and 'familiar' features. I wonder if she's Indian.

6. OMG LOOK AT THAT UGLY TATTOO ON HIS ARM!

7. IS IT A REINDEER? IS IT A MONSTER? WHAT IS W.H.H?

8. Lucky girl. Mmm.

This is true.

Hi Monday!

Sometimes, when I don’t feel like talking to people, I just tie my hair behind, show them all the tattoos on my back and get them to think twice about starting a conversation with me.

Happy Weekend

THIS BLOG IS NOT DEAD.

That being said, I have, without a doubt, been tremendously lazy about posting.

What made this even worse was Chrome's new policy that didn't allow you to sign in using two different  gmail accounts {unless you changed settings [which I was too lazy and a bit reluctant to do,(thanks too massive landslides of work at 5pm everyday)]} because of which my Reader remained unattended.

Sigh.

Did you just notice what I did with those brackets, for a sentence within a sentence with a justification?

And that is the correct order FYI.

Here are two weeks worth of 'Happy Weekend' stories!

I don't suffer from any kind of OCD but this is all kinds of awesome.

A heartbreaking story linked to chat history.

Photographing great style obviously means that some of it will seep into you, right? That's probably why Elle did a piece on all of Garance Dore's 'stuff.' (Is it weird that I love the bunch of Garance's Illustrations the most?)

The 12 Months of Neon Love Project is one of the sweetest, simplest, nothing projects.

Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere color co-ordinated shoes with food. I loved this post!

In defence of doodling.

Improv Everywhere's 'Say Something Nice' was one of NY's best summer projects.

I didn't know Helsinki had such a great street style culture that they had a whole site dedicated to it!

For some reason I really like the design aesthetic of the 'Museum of Obsolete Objects' Youtube Website.

I know I'd have dealt with my rejected scripts much better if I had read this advice from a former writer on Late Night with Conan O'Brian earlier.

The lies we tell everyday explained in colour and typo.

The Walls Notebook lets you doodle on 80 walls in NYC.

He was 4 years old when the Twin Towers were hit. 10 years on, he made 'The Second Day.'

The present OVS hoardings (including the pretty girl in the little dress on the cyan Vespa that we see on the streets of Bombay) were shot by Scott Schuman. Who knew?

PHEW! OVERLOAD!

Something Similar #1

Wearing something similar to this to work today.
Only I'm wearing Warehouse, Tres Mode, Mango, Colaba Causeway (can that be a brand too?)
P.S.: Polyvore is the shizzeh.
