0.4cm, triangular, bloody
I was summoned for one of my many daughterly duties - reach out for a fine sewing needle, put nimble fingers to good use and dislodge piece of glass from father's heel.
The needle was ditched for tweezers and i managed to pull out this 0.4cm long shard of glass, triangular and slightly bloody.
Of course, the picture alongside was taken as proof of my bravado, and, more importantly, to send to my sister, that girl who grows dizzy at the slightest sight of blood.

Trademark Big Eyes
the new girl seated next to me makes big eyes when i sing to myself, giggle at a typo and beg the hung MS Word files to Autosave.
i tell her she can get used to it or change her place.
she responds with her trademark big eyes.

she went to the chat room...
she went to the chat room with many hopes of having a conversation.
instead, she encountered there a misplaced designer who flung cheap head lines at her.
