Mmm

I dined at the Indigo Deli at the Palladium a few days ago.
Everything about that place is mmm. Including the bread.
Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food earlier. Largely because I was so busy eating it!
But Mumbai Boss reviewed it and they're so damn right!
The dessert was obviously divine, with lots of Bailey's Irish Cream and some other really rich liquor which totally gave my teetotaling the boot. And uhh, the blueberry cheesecake was over, hence the chocolate.

Onni

I woke up all glum this morning and wrote my own version of Andre Jordan’s Ordinary Love Stories.

I have fallen head over heels in love with an analyst called Onni.
He is six feet tall and smells of currency and cologne.
On our first date I planned to outwit him by dressing well and belting out replies like old school karate chops. But when he hopped into my rickshaw and kissed my cheek, I melted. And spent the rest of the evening looking away and smiling foolishly.
Since then, I have never met him again.

P.S: I am not really head over heels in love. Those things only happen to people who enjoy the rains. Thank god.

Monsoon Depression

The monsoons depress me so much that if I allowed myself, I’d cry tears that were bigger than raindrops.

Why would you lie about how much coal you had?

I first heard about New York (and Columbia University) outfit, Vampire Weekend at the end of 2009 while having a conversation about the Dharamsala with some deviant music expats. If you listen to 'Oxford Comma' you'll get how. And why.
Turns out the vocalist, Ezra, had actually visited the place way before he even wrote the song.
Apart from being one of the catchiest chansons that I have come across since 2010 began, it's also put my vocals-in-high-pitch to the test. So, while I passed all the mee-hee'ing and the yoo-hoo'ing with golden grades and flying colours, I still stagger helplessly every time I listen to the song. Sigh.
So. Hard. To. Get. Oxford. Comma. Out. Of. Head.

The Beatles didn't know any better

In advertising agencies, when we sit armed with our pencils and the right side of our brains, we often end up ideating on the inside and doing something completely different on the outside. Like this!
