What a bunch of idiots!
Our laziness is criminal.
Nothing can stand testimony to this more than the fact that despite there being wonderful image editing softwares such as Photoshop, we're being sold (and we're consuming, buying even, if I may add) applications like Instagram and tools like Diana, the most common and affordable Lomography camera, to saturate our images with colour.
Human beings are a bunch of idiots.

On Poverty, Being Inconsiderate & Taking the Bus
This morning, in a really crowded bus, some poor person* wearing shoes with heels made of wood (in all probability) hit my ankle so bad that I almost fainted when it happened and now it's turned into a full blown black - blue bruise.
This is precisely what happens when you are poor - You take the bus, you wear cheap shoes and you become inconsiderate because getting to work on time is all that matters, even if that means injuring people's limbs with your faux heels.
:(
*because who else takes really crowded buses, right?

There's Global Warming and Corruption, and then, this.
To all the thin girls resorting to the new fat girl ‘I’m not so fat’ outfit of leggings and a tunic/shirt,
If you’re so desperate to cross over into the fat girl category, just stuff yourself with fries.
Sincerely.

Is that how the Creative cookie crumbles?
06:20 AM: 40 minute Yoga session
07:40 AM: Running + Walking a total of 4 kilometers
09:15 AM: Big breakfast convinces me I'm mum's favorite child
10:40 AM: Feeling invincible
Rest of the day: Hunting down ideas in hiding to fend off feeling defeated again.

Black Swan
Some guy at work just gave me a DVD Rip of 'Black Swan.'
Only, I'm not sure it's the same version and I'm too afraid to open it at work to find out.

On Smokers
After going from a nice ‘Please don’t smoke near me’ to a more assertive ‘No no! You smoke here. I'll stand there,’ then graduating to a semi-aggressive-putting-my-foot-down-but-still-putting-the-onus-on-someone-else, ‘If you’re going to smoke, stay the hell away from me,’ I rose to a ‘You're smoking? Ok. I’m going to stay the hell away from you,’ and so on, I have never been more thankful for a prescription, than a few weeks ago, when it was put down in writing, by a medical practitioner (of great repute,) that I had to stay away from smokers.
That way, no one's an asshole and I can validate being an utter prude.

Bhopal's Great Tragedy
On Monday morning, people who had waited 26 long years for justice gathered in the streets to await the verdict pronounced over the Union Carbide gas plant leak, the world’s worst industrial disaster. When it was announced, it was too little and too late!
The fact that all the Indian defendants had been found guilty produced short-lived joy, but news of the sentences left the rest of the country in shock, disbelief, disgusted and angry.
The court made zero mention of Warren Anderson, the American then-chairman of Union Carbide, who had a warrant issued against him since 2003 but was later declared an ‘absconder’ by the court (despite the fact that he was publicly proclaimed to be living in his New York apartment as of late 2009).
As with most Indian cases with weak verdicts, blindingly obvious questions still hung in the air.
Like why didn’t the Indian government force Dow to clean up Bhopal?
Or why did the prosecution turn their attention on the Indian managers instead of trying UCC for culpable homicide?
In 2008 itself the Indian law ministry had advised Manmohan Singh that Dow was liable for UCC’s misdeeds in Bhopal. Little did everyone know that the Prime Minister and his minions were in contortions to appease Dow, which had then offered to invest $1billion in India if freed from its Bhopal liabilities.
Indra Sinha, who has written a scathing book on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy called ‘Animal’s People’, tells the story of ‘that night’ here and speaks of the verdict here.
